Job Responsibilities

  • Sourcing & Category Management: Oversee the sourcing and procurement of Packaging and Merchandise products
  • Purchasing Coordination: Manage daily purchasing operations for both the central Purchasing department and individual outlets.
  • Vendor Issue Resolution: Address and resolve supplier-related issues, including product defects, shortages, and delivery discrepancies.
  • Data & System Management: Maintain accurate purchasing master data and ensure integrity across procurement systems.
  • Procurement Records: Keep detailed records of purchases, including item specifications, costs, delivery schedules, product quality, and supplier performance.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities adhere to Halal regulations and relevant industry standards.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with internal requestors and external suppliers throughout the purchasing cycle; monitor and follow up on deliveries to ensure on-time fulfillment.
  • Documentation & SOP Compliance: Prepare purchase orders and related documentation in strict accordance with the company's Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Cost Negotiation: Source suppliers and negotiate competitive pricing for goods and services without compromising on quality.
  • International Logistics Coordination: Manage communications with overseas suppliers and freight forwarders; collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth payment processing.
  • Ad Hoc Duties: Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned to support procurement and supply chain operations.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and basic computer skills.
  • Minimum 1 year relevant experience in purchasing, preferably in F&B or hospitality industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Possesses excellent communication skills, facilitating seamless collaboration between external vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Skilled in sourcing new items and suggesting product alternatives when necessary
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision, effectively managing multiple requests under tight deadlines
  • Demonstrates a positive work attitude, proactive problem-solving abilities, and a strong commitment to meeting operational goals
