Responsibilities:

Port Operations

  • Plan and oversee the deployment of manpower and equipment for vessel and barge unloading, ensuring operations run safely and efficiently.
  • Coordinate and prioritize tasks to optimize workflow and reduce downtime.
  • Ensure all safety protocols, permits, and operational documentation are completed and submitted promptly.
  • Provide 24/7 response to operational issues and emergencies as needed.
  • Compile and submit operational reports as required.

Warehousing & Material Distribution

  • Monitor warehouse stock levels and manage timely procurement to prevent shortages.
  • Organize stockpiling processes for effective material handling and storage.
  • Supervise material distribution to customer sites, guaranteeing accurate and punctual delivery of daily orders.
  • Promote and maintain a safe working environment throughout all warehouse operations.
  • Prepare and submit daily reports detailing material movements and inventory status.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics Management, Maritime Studies, Engineering, or related disciplines. Candidates with a business degree and relevant experience will are welcome to apply.
  • Preferred experience in logistics, site coordination, port operations, or working with heavy machinery/marine environments.
  • Excellent organizational and planning abilities.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively oversee port operations and warehouse activities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office for reporting and documentation purposes.
  • Possession of own transportation or a valid Class 3 driver's license (company vehicle provided).
