THE COMPANY

Our Client is a renowned organisation in the Hospitality industry with a strong global presence. They are looking for a Technical Design Manger to oversee and lead MEP systems design for projects across the region as part of their expansion plans.

THE ROLE

The Technical Design Manager, MEP systems is responsible for:

  • Lead, Manage and oversee the design and integration of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems across hotel and resort projects.
  • Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and operators to ensure MEP systems complement guest experience and long-term operations.
  • Review and approve consultant submissions, ensuring compliance with codes, safety, and sustainability certifications (LEED/Green Mark/ASHRAE).
  • Conduct design reviews, risk assessments, and value engineering to optimize performance, cost, and maintainability.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in MEP design, with proven track record in hospitality, luxury hotel, or resort projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, power distribution, water systems, fire protection, and building automation.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication skills and the ability to manage multidisciplinary design teams and deliver projects on time and within budget.
