We are seeking a proactive and detail-orientedAssistant Manager, Finance to join our Finance Team. This role is responsible for managing the full set of accounts for one of our small-sized entities, while also supporting strategic financial modelling and commercial analysis across other business units. It is an excellent opportunity for candidates who enjoy both hands-on accounting and data-driven decision support in a collaborative environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Handle monthly closing of full sets of accounts (GL, AP, AR, invoicing)
  • Perform bank reconciliations, maintain accounting schedules, and prepare quarterly GST filings
  • Prepare management reports including P&L and Balance Sheet analysis
  • Prepare monthly forecast and participate in annual budgeting process
  • Manage cashflow and loan activities
  • Responsible in audit and tax filing
  • Work closely with the commercial team to ensure accurate license agreements are issued and prepare timely invoices. Revenue will have to be recognized in the correct period and manage deposits and follow up on arrears
  • Provide support for property tax filings
  • Assist in tender exercises and conduct pre-qualification checks on vendors
  • Develop financial models and business cases to support commercial teams and evaluate ROI for AEI projects
  • Track commercial KPIs and analyze performance against business case assumptions

Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in Accounting; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Singapore preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Simplicity preferred.
  • Experience working with large datasets and building financial models for commercial scenarios.
  • Advanced spreadsheet skills in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.
  • Meticulous and detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
