Job Title: Finance Assistant

Location: Central

Schedule: 5 days, Office Hours

Salary: $2500 - $3500

Responsibilities:

  • Handle day-to-day finance activities including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets Register, and other finance-related matters
  • Assist with month-end closing activities, including inventory closing
  • Manage and ensure accurate, complete, and timely staff claim disbursements
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly
  • Prepare tax provision schedules and ensure timely filing of quarterly GST returns
  • Liaise with auditors on audit matters and preparation of audit schedules

Requirements:

  • Diploma or relevant qualification in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Entry Levels are welcome to apply)
  • At least 2 years of experience managing full sets of accounts (Training will be provided for those with little experience)
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and GST filing
  • Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
