The role will report to the Head, International Business (IB), Advanced Networks & Sensors. You will be responsible for managing the entire cycle of international business bids and tenders. This includes developing and implementing effective bid strategies, and ensuring timely and accurate submission of proposals. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information, create compelling proposals, and ensure compliance with all client requirements and company policies. Additionally, the incumbent will conduct thorough reviews and debriefs to continuously improve the bidding process and maintain a comprehensive bid library.

Be Part of Our Success

  • Plan, drive and execute IB Bids and tenders including bids strategies, bids team organization and bids execution
  • Lead the end-to-end bid process, and ensuring on-time and high-quality bid submission
  • Participate in development and execution of winning bid strategies
  • Participate in negotiation sessions to secure favourable terms and conditions including & not limited to enhance commercial terms, minimization of risk of deliveries and executions
  • Coordinate with various teams, such as sales, technical, legal and finance to ensure all aspects of a bid are addressed
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate bid documentation, including bid files, records of communication and pricing information
  • Review and conduct post-bid analysis to refine and optimize the bidding process
  • Track and provide timely updates on bid results and key metrics

Qualities We Value

  • Degree in business administration or a related field
  • Preferred experience in the defence, international, and engineering industry domains
  • Demonstrated success in winning bids through effective proposal management
  • Strong understanding of the bid lifecycle, proposal writing, development, and contract negotiation
  • Ability to implement budgetary and cost-control measures with solid negotiation and persuasive skills
  • Attention to detail and high accuracy in bid preparation and review
  • Familiarity with industry and geographical bid requirements is a plus
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities
  • Ability to navigate in a fast-paced environment, being independent, self-motivated, and able to work collaboratively in a team environment and individually
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment
