Pursuit Management

  • Leads all day-to-day aspects of an individual bid and is accountable for the end-to-end quality of the deal
  • Works at the strategic level to provide direction and maintain perspective across the entire bid/capture process
  • Accountable for bid planning, applying best practices, managing critical path and resource needs, B&P budget and deal orchestration
  • Understands and leads the opportunity using the PSM as a guide, ensuring end-to-end compliance with company processes and corporate policies
  • Conducts pursuit efforts including pursuit planning, presentations, concepts, customer responses, internal coordination and periodic reviews
  • Establishes and achieves deal timelines, approvals, governance and cadence
  • Provides assistance with and background information on the proposal to assist with closing the deal

Bid Team Management

  • Acts as a leader and plays the role of challenger as part of the core pursuit team
  • Seen as a coach and mentor to pursuit team members
  • Engages, guides and coordinates bid team resources and interdependencies between multiple and multi-disciplinary teams to develop a high-quality solution and proposal, that meets client objectives and showcases DXC's capabilities

Client Engagement (where appropriate)

  • Establishes working relationships with clients, participate in client meetings, workshops and presentations
  • Participates in commercial meetings with the client, their advisors and partners (sub-contractors)

Experience & Competency:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years' experience in a similar job scope
  • Fluency in English (must-have)
  • Articulate, effective communication skills;
  • Result-driven and customer-centric;
  • Able to inspire customer confidence through professional presence, self-confidence;
  • Ability to multi-task and work on several accounts simultaneously;
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, consult and growing of the business;
  • Positive attitude when solving business and/or technical problems;
  • Self-starter with the ability to assume leadership and work without direct supervision.
  • Singapore Public sector experience will be advantageous
