Assistant Manager (Data Innovation & Protection Group)

Location: Pasir Panjang, Singapore

Contract: 11 months (renewable based on business needs and performance)

Salary: $4,000/month

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Manager to join our team driving Singapore's data and AI innovation initiatives. You will play a key role in supporting projects that promote the responsible use of data and AI, while contributing to community engagement, advocacy, and ecosystem development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and monitor automation scripts (e.g., Workato) to streamline manual data processes into automated pipelines.
  • Build and maintain dashboards to track registration, engagement, and trends within the Data Protection Officer (DPO) community.
  • Manage backend data processes to ensure accuracy and timely updates of DPO information.
  • Provide administrative and logistics support, including managing certification applications, awards, and responding to programme-related queries.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement data-driven solutions.

Requirements

  • Degree in a technical field (e.g., IT, Data Science, Engineering) with at least 1 year of full time work experience.
  • Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience working with databases.
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data modelling).
  • Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Knowledge of automation tools (e.g., RPA, Workato) and/or programming (Python) is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to process improvement.
