We are a vibrant, design-forward lifestyle venue in the heart of Raffles Place, offering reimagined local flavors, specialty beverages, and a curated wine and sake list. From daytime coffee service to evening cocktails and live music, our space transforms with the rhythm of the city. We're seeking a service-focused and passionate Assistant Manager / Sommelier to elevate our guest experience and lead beverage engagement on the floor.


Role Overview

This hybrid role combines operational leadership with wine expertise. You will assist in running day-to-day service, supervise the floor team, and take charge of the venue's wine, and beverage experience. The ideal candidate is someone with a deep love for hospitality, a natural sense of leadership, and a strong understanding of wine, and guest engagement.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support outlet operations and assist the Outlet Manager with daily floor management.
  • Lead wine and service, making personalized recommendations and managing the beverage program.
  • Train staff in beverage knowledge, upselling techniques, and pairing suggestions.
  • Ensure smooth transitions across café, lunch, and night-time operations.
  • Maintain proper wine storage, rotation, and inventory.
  • Assist in guest engagement, feedback handling, and VIP experiences.
  • Coordinate with bar and kitchen teams on beverage and menu alignment.
  • Uphold service standards and ensure a consistent, high-quality guest journey.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role in F&B.
  • Strong knowledge of wine; WSET or relevant certification preferred.
  • Excellent floor presence with confident, service-oriented communication.
  • Passion for hospitality, storytelling, and building guest relationships.
  • Proficient in POS and inventory systems.
  • Able to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as needed.
