Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project schedules, resources, and daily site activities to ensure smooth operations.
  • Liaise with contractors, authorities, and external agencies for permits and regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor works, resolve issues, and ensure safe, quality execution.
  • Prepare and manage documentation such as permits-to-work, drawings, inspection records, and safety reports.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards throughout project lifecycle.
  • Assist in procurement of materials and scheduling of equipment.
  • Track inventory, manpower, and equipment usage to maintain efficiency and cost control.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to avoid project delays.
  • Identify opportunities for workflow improvements and cost savings.
  • Enforce workplace safety, risk management procedures, and conduct toolbox meetings.
  • Ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Construction Management, Civil, Mechanical, or Utility Engineering.
  • Minimum 2–3 years' experience in project coordination, from construction or civil engineering industry.
  • Prior experience or familiarity with underground utility projects will be advantageous
  • Certification such as Gas Pipe Fitter, BCSS, or confined space supervision will be a plus.
