Senior Executive (Emergency Preparedness)
Location: Queenstown
Salary: $3,900 – $5,000

About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Executive (Emergency Preparedness) to join our team. In this role, you will develop and implement strategies to ensure effective response to various emergencies such as pandemics, IT downtime, and other crises. You will also dedicate be supporting Emergency Preparedness (EP) related projects.

Key Responsibilities
1) Management of EP Equipment
- Oversee budget and funding for emergency equipment and consumables.
- Plan and execute procurement, purchases, and claims.
- Collaborate with Biomedical Equipment teams to ensure asset tracking, maintenance, and deployment readiness.
- Review and recommend crisis equipment requirements.
- Act as the Point-of-Contact (POC) for MOH audits and reporting related to EP equipment.
2) Emergency Response Planning & Exercises
- Review and coordinate hospital Emergency Response Plans and SOPs with stakeholders.
- Plan and conduct monthly Fleet Test Exercises.
- Organize emergency preparedness exercises and drills in line with the annual workplan.
3) Planning for Integrated General Hospital (IGH)
- Participate in IGH Ops Centre workshops and ensure infrastructure requirements are incorporated.
- Work with medical planners, campus planning teams, and end-users to design EP strategies.
- Develop procurement plans and ensure timely completion.
4) Other EP Activities
- Provide secretariat support for quarterly BCM Steering Committee meetings.
- Support MOH EP-related projects and initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline. Entry Levels are welcome to apply.
- At least 3 years' working experience in the healthcare industry (operational experience is advantageous but not mandatory).
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel (including functions such as VLOOKUP), and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task, work independently, and perform under tight timelines.
- Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
