AV Executive

Reporting to the Executive Assistant Manager (F&B), the incumbent will be responsible to:-

  • Handle the day-to-day setting up of audio visual and media equipment according to the operations requirements.
  • Conduct routine checks on all equipments in the function rooms prior to the events.
  • Ensure that all equipments are tested and in good operating condition at all times
  • Ensure successful execution of event presentations and maintain guests' satisfaction.
  • Work hand in hand with the Banquet Operations and various departments in day to day operations
  • To carry out quarterly, bi-yearly, yearly inventory of all operating equipment
  • Set necessary equipment in function rooms, including outdoor catering events; as directed in the Banquet Event Order (BEO)
  • To assist guests in the setup and dismantling of any AV equipment brought in for the event.
  • Assist as required with any other related task assigned by event in-charge.
  • Adhere standard operating procedures/guideline and comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.

Job Requirements

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience handing audio visual and media equipment in hospitality environment.
  • Self-driven, energetic and proactive in his/her work.
  • He/She should have technical knowledge on setting up of all audio visual requirements and be well-equipped with the knowledge on modern technologies of audio visual equipment.
  • He/She should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment. Proficiency in computer skills would be an added advantage.
