Responsibilities
  • Organize and support both internal and external meetings within the department.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including Nursing and Operational Support Services, on ward infrastructure and building improvement initiatives to ensure project phases and bed closures are planned effectively, minimizing disruptions to inpatient operations.
  • Ensure user requirements are accurately reflected in project specifications and that site works comply with established hospital standards, including infection control protocols.
  • Participate in the development of project specifications and documentation to support tender publication, evaluation processes, and approval papers.
  • Prepare proposals and approval documents as necessary.
  • Consolidate, update, and assess the overall status of department projects and cash flow.
  • Work in conjunction with nurse managers and cluster operations to ensure the daily smooth operation of inpatient wards.
  • Review key processes to enhance performance indicators and outcomes in areas such as customer experience, operational efficiency, and resource utilization.
  • Engage with relevant departments on special projects, workgroups, or committees to address intra-departmental conflicts and implement proposed solutions.
  • Address customer complaints and follow up on service recovery as needed.
  • Review and update departmental policies and workflows as necessary.
  • Support relevant hospital committees within assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Undertake any additional tasks as directed by the Reporting Officer.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff members.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution in Business Management or Marketing.
  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience, ideally in the service industry.
  • Practical knowledge of hospital operations and/or the construction sector is preferred.
