About the Role

Our client is looking for a driven
Construction
Manager to support the successful delivery of
government-sector projects
within their Project & Development Services team. You'll manage and deliver high-quality construction projects from start to finish across commercial, retail, industrial, hospitality, and education sectors. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end project lifecycle from design and tendering to construction and handover.
  • Oversee multiple concurrent projects, ensuring timely delivery and budget control.
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and minimal downtime.
  • Prepare project specifications, timelines, and procurement/tender documents.
  • Submit weekly reports and updates to stakeholders.
  • Conduct value engineering, risk assessments, and design/documentation reviews.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Use digital platforms and tools to streamline project management and reporting.

What We're Looking For:

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Architecture, Civil/Structural/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Building Science, or Construction/Project Management.
  • Degree must be recognized by Singapore's
    Board of Architects
    ,
    Professional Engineers Board
    , or
    BCA
    .
  • Minimum
    5 years
    of relevant post-graduate experience in construction (preferably HDB projects) or
    3 years
    in project management.

Certifications
(or must be obtained within 6 months of employment)

  • Construction Safety Course for Project Managers (MOM-accredited)
  • Design for Safety Appreciation Course (MOM-accredited)
  • Registered Earthworks Supervisor Course
  • Earth Control Measures Certificate for Site Personnel
  • CONQUAS Training Certificate (for Developers & Consultants – BCA)
  • Shall attend safety-related course(s) by training providers or organization accredited by MOM annually.
  • Accredited by
    Society of Project Managers (SPM)
    under the APM scheme

Skills & Attributes

  • Proficient in
    MS Project
  • Strong in schedule, cost, and quality management
  • Experience with interior fit-out projects and vendor negotiation
  • Solid understanding of site operations, safety, and risk management
  • Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
  • Tech-savvy and familiar with digital project tools
