About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Construction Site Manager to join our team at Quek Hock Seng Construction Pte Ltd. As a full-time Construction Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and management of our construction projects in the Jurong East West Region. This is a crucial role that requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to ensure the successful delivery of our projects.

What you'll be doing

  1. Supervising and coordinating all on-site construction activities, including managing subcontractors and labour
  2. Ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
  3. Developing and implementing project plans, schedules, and safety procedures
  4. Monitoring and reporting on project progress, and identifying and resolving any issues or challenges that arise
  5. Liaising with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  6. Ensuring compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards
  7. Providing mentorship and guidance to junior members of the construction team

What we're looking for

  1. A minimum of 8 years of experience as a Construction Site Manager or in a similar role within the construction industry
  2. Strong technical knowledge and understanding of construction processes, methods, and materials
  3. Excellent project management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure
  4. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders
  5. A proven track record of delivering construction projects on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality
  6. Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards
  7. A valid construction site management certification or equivalent
