Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook Bak Kut Teh herbal soup and related side dishes according to established recipes and standards.
- Handle claypot dishes skillfully, ensuring proper temperature control and presentation.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards.
- Manage ingredient preparation and stock rotation to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chinese Cuisine Chef, preferably with Bak Kut Teh and claypot cooking background.
- Good understanding of Chinese herbs, soup base preparation, and flavor balancing.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work on weekends and public holidays if required.
