Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook Bak Kut Teh herbal soup and related side dishes according to established recipes and standards.
  • Handle claypot dishes skillfully, ensuring proper temperature control and presentation.
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards.
  • Manage ingredient preparation and stock rotation to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
  • Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Chinese Cuisine Chef, preferably with Bak Kut Teh and claypot cooking background.
  • Good understanding of Chinese herbs, soup base preparation, and flavor balancing.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work on weekends and public holidays if required.
