Job Scope:
- Support the preparation and cooking of Chinese cuisine while ensuring consistent quality and adherence to restaurant standards.
- Assist the Executive Chef in developing new recipes, refining existing dishes, and conducting routine tastings.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including staff scheduling, supervision, and compliance with health and safety requirements.
- Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, storage, and performing regular stock audits to maintain optimal levels and minimize wastage.
- Monitor food cost and ensure efficient use of ingredients to support cost control.
- Train, guide, and mentor junior staff to uphold performance and kitchen standards.
Job Requirements:
· At least five years of relevant working experience in Chinese Cuisine (Both traditional & Modern Chinese Cuisines)
