Purpose of Position:

You will coordinate interdepartmental workflow to enhance and ensure operational efficiency within a clinical setting in the areas of patient care, staff supervision, planning, coordinating, directing and evaluating all daily operational activities in an assigned patient care unit. Your responsibilities include providing administrative support and patient care services. In additional, drawing blood from patients by adhering to SOP will be part of your responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Schedule patient appointments and make reminder calls.
  • Obtain patient address, contact details, insurance information and medical history
  • Maintain patient data up-to-date and verify patient information at every visit
  • Identify patient's insurance coverage and collect co-payments
  • Process credit card payments and balance daily cash deposits
  • Perform timely billing in Clinic Management System and in insurance portals
  • Inform patients about delays and waiting times
  • Support triage to gather patient information for clinical judgment to priority of care
  • Respond to patient queries and concerns in a professional manner
  • Stay updated with information regarding insurance programs and funding sources.
  • Assist patients in filling forms
  • Management of patients' records in accordance with PDPA act
  • Maintains clinic(s) supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level

  • Dispensing of medication with second checker

  • Drawing, handling and labelling of blood samples

Key Skills:

  • Good written and spoken English
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with colleagues from cross departments

Qualifications:

  • Education: Minimum GCE "N" Levels

  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in Healthcare

  • Certification: Phlebotomy Certificate
