As a Senior Patient Service Associate, you will be expected to deliver friendly, efficient customer service and create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all of internal and external customer / patients with the key aim of providing excellent patient care.  Your work area includes working at the Ambulatory Surgery centre and the main lobby.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally
  • Perform 2 patient identifier
  • Conduct triaging of patients to ensure that patients receive the appropriate level of care based on their needs
  • Respond to enquiries regarding services, appointments, and procedures
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring accurate information is recorded
  • Maintain an organized and welcoming reception area
  • Conduct patient registration by verifying patient information
  • Ensure all necessary documentation is completed and in compliance with regulations
  • Perform financial counselling and explain billing procedures and payment options to patients and families
  • Collection of outstanding balances at the time of service
  • Coordinate follow-up appointments

Requirements:

  • Possesses GCE 'A' / 'N' / 'O' level, Higher/ NITEC
  • Possess good interpersonal skills to communicate constructively with colleagues, patients and visitors
  • Proficiency in M365 applications and knowledge of SAP will be an advantage
  • Able to exhibit initiative, a present disposition, demonstrate an ability to work independently, and manifest good team-spirit qualities
  • Comfortable with working in hospital setting
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience.
