We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Business Development Manager to spearhead our growth initiatives, forge strategic partnerships, and propel Tribbe to new heights in the experiential events and IP technology landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation and delivery of customized pitches for high-value opportunities, emphasizing Tribbe's competitive advantages and experiential edge.

  • Generate and qualify new business leads through networking, industry events, and targeted outreach to government and corporate clients in various sectors.

  • Manage ongoing client relationships, including post-event feedback, upselling (e.g., IP licensing add-ons), and ensuring satisfaction to drive repeats and referrals.

  • Oversee projects end-to-end, coordinating with ops/marketing teams for seamless delivery.

  • Brainstorm and prototype Illuminations IP ideas (e.g., themed drone shows), integrating creative scripting and marketing strategies to create audience-driven assets.

  • Identify and pursue non-event revenue streams (e.g., licensing deals with brands, partnerships for sustainable rentals), aiming for 10-15% of quarterly leads from diversified sources.

  • Mentor a small BD/marketing pod, training on client-facing creatives and fostering innovation to build Tribbe's growth culture.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align business development strategies with company vision and goals.

  • Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and market opportunities to innovate Tribbe's offerings and secure competitive edges.

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners to fuel long-term business expansion.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or related roles, ideally in the events, entertainment, or experiential marketing industry, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.

  • Proven track record of generating leads, closing deals, and driving revenue growth in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong networking abilities and experience in building strategic partnerships.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for pitching ideas and negotiating contracts.

  • Familiarity with IP development, creative direction, and large-scale event management is highly desirable.

  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as business demands.

  • Knowledge of Singapore's events and business landscape, including local and government entities, is advantageous.
