Inventory Management Specialist

Job Description
- Develop and implement effective inventory control systems and practices.
- Schedule and execute regular cycle counts based on KPIs set by various clients.
- Investigate stock variances and provide root cause analysis.
- Update and align Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to comply with quality standards.
- Coordinate annual stock takes and physical inventory counts with internal and external stakeholders.
- Reconcile stock discrepancies and collaborate with teams to resolve issues.
- Manage product expiries, including quarantine of expired items.
- Maintain accurate records of cycle counts, stock takes, and inventory data.
- Manage SAP material master data and bin location creation.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain management.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems, stock control procedures, and industry best practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and coordination skills with internal teams and external vendors.
- Familiarity with inventory KPIs, cycle counting, and stock reconciliation processes.
- Flexibility to work occasional extended hours during stock takes or audits.
