Get to Know the Team

You will be part of GrabAcademy, the Training & Partnerships team dedicated to provide holistic learning and development support for our driver-, delivery-, and merchant-partners.

The role co-leads the Grab SkillsFuture Queen Bee initiative, a nationwide upskilling programme launched by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG). Through this initiative, Grab supports Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the Food Services, eCommerce & Retail sectors to bridge skills gaps and meet their needs. Additionally, you will be involved in training facilitation and delivery, marketing, business development and related activities to create meaningful impact for our partners, consumers, and the community.

Get to Know the Role

You will report to the Head of Training Strategy and Partnerships, at the Grab Tampines office, to lead the implementation of skills, training solutions and interventions to achieve business growth and transformation for the network of Grab partners and SMEs within our value chain.

You will:

  • Lead research on industry landscape and market trends, including working with multiple stakeholders within and beyond Grab, to understand critical skills requirements, project future skills demand and business objectives
  • Diagnose the skills gaps and needs and identify measurements of the success of the network
  • Formulate a training needs analysis plan by identifying skills and training opportunities, reviewing existing skills and training solutions and interventions, sourcing for new and/or developing bespoke skills and training solutions and interventions to address the needs of industry and Grab's business verticals
  • Leverage Skills Frameworks and relevant SkillsFuture resources in creating the skills and training solutions and interventions
  • Develop an implementation plan and organise the participation of Grab partners & SMEs in the network
  • Manage and foster relationships with multiple stakeholders to ensure effective and sustainable implementation
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the skills and training solutions and interventions and fine-tune the long-term implementation plan.

This role is based onsite in the Grab Tampines office.

This is a 2 year renewable contract position with the possibility to convert into a full time employment.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

  • Engage key stakeholders from multiple business verticals to identify training collaboration opportunities and solve issues
  • Curate and propose training interventions and development
  • Design, facilitate and deliver trainings
  • Develop strategies and content to communicate, influence and promote the value of all training projects and plans
  • Conduct 1:1 and group engagements with Grab Partners & SMEs to understand their needs, propose and develop relevant training interventions
  • Work with the Training team and stakeholders to ensure the smooth running and quality of the projects
  • Attend business meetings with existing and potential training partners or government bodies
  • Provide regular updates to the stakeholders
  • Assist the department in the daily operations
  • Manage and execute other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

The Must-Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree and above
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience, with learning & development and project management experience
  • Certification in ACTA/ACLP
  • Excellent facilitation skills to deliver engaging and impactful training sessions
  • Strong presentation and writing skills
  • Critical thinking, problem solving, and organisation skills
  • Self-starter, independent worker and team player
  • Adaptable, able to work in a fast paced and agile environment
  • Passionate in helping others grow

The Nice-to-Haves

  • Business Development and/or Marketing experience
  • Experience in the F&B, eCommerce or Retail sector
  • DACE/DDDLP certification
  • Experience working with SMEs
