[What the role is]

The Government Technology Agency (GovTech) aims to transform the delivery of Government digital services by taking an "outside-in" view, putting citizens and businesses at the heart of everything we do. Government Productivity Engineering
The Government Productivity Engineering (GPE) Division provides end-to-end solutions, encompassing both user-facing productivity tools and robust backend infrastructure, to support a wide array of operational needs. Our mission is to empower public officers to boost work productivity and enhance service delivery with digital tools, leveraging on a trusted, secure, and resilient Whole-of-Government Infrastructure.

[What you will be working on]

We are seeking an HRIS Specialist to join our People Operations & Systems team that leverages technology and operational expertise to deliver quality and customer-centric HR shared services. Be part of the team that plays an essential role in GovTech's HR Digital Transformation journey

You will be a member of a cross-functional project team to implement a Data Warehouse for HR-related data, to elevate our People Analytics capabilities.

Primarily, this will entail the extraction, transformation and loading of data from multiple data sources into our in-house Data Warehouse. These data sources include SAP HCM, Workday HCM and other systems and database. The data will be integrated in a consistent, efficient, and accurate manner, to enable robust reporting and data analysis based on trusted data, to derive insights and make data-driven decisions.

[What we are looking for]

What you will be working on:

  • Data cleansing which entails reviewing data sets, validating data against source documents or trusted parties to ensure accuracy

  • Data field mapping to ensure data that the data sets are correctly mapped to the receiving Data Warehouse platform.

  • Data transformation and loading which entails converting data into the required format and structure of the Data Warehouse.

  • Other job duties as assigned from time-to-time.

What we are looking for:

  • Diploma/ Bachelor's Degree

  • Minimum 4 years of relevant working experience in managing HR data

  • Analytical, meticulous, and resourceful

  • Advanced excel skills and ability to handle large amounts of data

  • Experience with Workday HCM, SAP and data warehousing tools is a great advantage

  • Agile and energised by a fast-paced work environment, and able to multitask.

  • Good written/verbal communication skills and able to collaborate well across teams
