Job Responsibilities

  • Facilities Operations & Maintenance:

  • Manage day to day facilities operations including M&E systems, air conditioning, lighting, lifts, escalators, fire protection, plumbing, and general building services.

  • Coordinate and supervise contractors and service providers to ensure work is completed according to schedule, standards, and safety requirements.

  • Mall & Tenant Support:

  • Act as the first point of contact for tenants regarding facilities issues follow up on requests and coordinate timely resolution.

  • Assist in the preparation and execution of tenant fit-out and renovation works, ensuring adherence to guidelines and regulations.

  • Inspections & Compliance:

  • Conduct routine inspections of the mall premises, equipment, and systems to identify faults, inefficiencies, or hazards.

  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements, workplace safety, and building codes.

  • Vendor Management:

  • Oversee outsourced maintenance contracts (e.g., M&E, cleaning, security and carpark).

  • Monitor service level agreements and review contractor performance.

  • Sustainability & Energy Management:

  • Support sustainability efforts, including energy-saving initiatives, waste management, and environmental compliance.

  • Administrative Duties:

  • Maintain records of maintenance works, reports, checklists, and audits.

  • Assist in budgeting, cost control, procurement, and planning of maintenance works

Any other duties as assigned by the Manager.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Facilities Management, Building Services, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in mall, retail, or commercial building facilities management.
  • Strong knowledge of M&E systems and building operations.
  • Familiar with regulatory compliance (e.g., BCA, SCDF, NEA) and workplace safety requirements.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CAFM systems
  • Good communication, interpersonal, problem-solving skills and able to work independently
