About the role

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Executive to join our dynamic team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and maintenance of commercial properties within the Central Region. This is an excellent opportunity to leverage your expertise in facilities management and contribute to the smooth running of our client properties.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage the maintenance and repair of all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other infrastructure
  • Coordinate with contractors and service providers to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects
  • Monitor and optimise energy consumption and sustainability initiatives across the properties
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to prolong the lifespan of building assets
  • Respond to and resolve tenant requests and complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Prepare and manage budgets for facilities-related expenses
  • Liaise with property owners and management teams to provide regular updates and recommendations

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities management, preferably in the real estate or property management industry
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask
  • Proficient in using facilities management software and data analysis tools
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and environmental sustainability
  • Diploma or degree in Facilities Management, Building Services, or a related field
