The Business Development Assistant Manager plays a strategic role in driving the growth of ISCA's professional qualification programmes such as the SCAQ, Sustainability, and Financial Forensics Accounting qualification. The role is responsible for developing go-to-market strategies, managing key accounts, driving sales performance, and deepening partnerships with corporates, universities, and industry stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development, Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve revenue, enrolment, and sales targets across ISCA's professional qualifications.

  • Conduct market analysis to identify new growth opportunities, emerging trends, and potential partnership channels.

  • Drive B2B sales efforts including prospecting, pitching, negotiation, and closing, ensuring consistent achievement of sales KPIs.

  • Manage key accounts and engage senior decision-makers from corporates, universities, and industry bodies to deepen partnerships.

  • Lead go-to-market strategies, pricing discussions, and commercial proposal development to support programme expansion.

  • Provide inputs related to SSG funding where relevant, ensuring proposals and discussions align with funding frameworks.

2. Leads & Relationship Management

  • Oversee the full leads and pipeline management process through the CRM system, ensuring accuracy, timely follow-up, and conversion optimisation.

  • Build strong and lasting relationships with partners, clients, and prospective stakeholders through consistent engagement and value-driven communication.

  • Maintain clear account plans and relationship maps, ensuring effective senior stakeholder engagement and retention.

  • Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, operations, programme leads) to ensure seamless partner experience and timely fulfilment of commitments.

3. Outreach & Market Engagement

  • Represent ISCA at career fairs, corporate engagements, education events, and industry conferences to strengthen brand visibility and promote programme offerings.

  • Lead outreach initiatives with employers, universities, and professional networks to build stronger industry linkages and drive enrolment pipeline.

  • Conduct competitor scans, market research, and stakeholder feedback reviews to guide positioning and product development.

  • Develop outreach content, sales pitches, and market engagement materials in collaboration with relevant teams.

4. Data Reporting & Team Management

  • Oversee sales reporting, forecasting, conversion tracking, and CRM data accuracy to support business planning and leadership decisions.

  • Analyse sales performance, partner feedback, and outreach outcomes to identify gaps and recommend improvements.

  • Prepare management reports, insights, and dashboards to support strategic discussions with senior management.

  • Mentor junior team members on sales techniques, stakeholder communication, and pipeline management to uplift team capability.

Requirements

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Accountancy, or related fields.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in business development, partnerships, or B2B sales, preferably in education, training or professional services.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage senior decision-makers.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.

  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and planning abilities.

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and leading business initiatives.

  • Prior Knowledge in SSG funding is an advantage.
