The Deputy Security Manager is responsible for strategizing and managing the operations, resources, and activities of the Security Department.

A summary of the responsibilities of this position are, and not limited to, as follows:

  • Formulating and monitoring the Security Department's manpower needs.
  • Manage a team of security executives on the guard's deployment at all the respective job sites.
  • Planning and conducting security inspections and audits on job sites.
  • Oversee the operations of our dormitories and reporting on total foreign manpower deployed on sites.
  • Implementation of security policies – regulations & rules on access control points and make sure that the environment in their organization is safe for management, employees, and visitors.
  • Assisting overseas job sites or related subsidiaries on security issues and help set up security team in overseas context.
  • Liaise with external agencies and regulators on security management issues

Skills and Requirements:

  • Education:  Minimum Degree or Diploma in any relevant discipline
  • Experience: Minimum 6 years' experience in similar role, with Proven management and leadership experience within the security industry, the public sector, or security services
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and engagement skills
  • Possess the ability to strategize / improve processes and implement security best practices
  • Enthusiastic and committed approach to build strong, trust-based relationships with stakeholders on all levels
  • Prefer experience with Immigration and Checkpoints Authority but not a must have
  • Have worked in places with a higher standard for Security requirements like sensitive buildings/ governmental buildings/ banks etc.
