About the Organisation

Our client is a well-established organisation in the social service space, with a strong focus on community impact and service delivery. Backed by public sector support, they are entering a period of planned expansion to increase their reach and capabilities across the island in the coming years.

To support this growth, they are looking to bring on board an experienced HR Director to lead and strengthen their human capital strategy.

The Role

As HR Director, you will play a strategic and operational leadership role, overseeing a team of HR professionals and ensuring the HR strategy aligns with the organisation's evolving structure and mission.

This role works closely with senior leadership and key external stakeholders, including government officials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the full spectrum of HR functions including talent acquisition, performance management, L&D, employee relations, and policy development
  • Provide strategic HR advice and direction to leadership during organisational growth and change
  • Strengthen governance, compliance, and HR operations with a strong focus on confidentiality and alignment with government-related protocols and requirements
  • Champion culture and values across the organisation to ensure alignment with mission-driven goals
  • Act as a key liaison with external stakeholders, including regulatory and funding bodies
  • Mentor and support the HR team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
What We're Looking For
  • At least 8 years experience in a senior HR role, ideally within the social service, non-profit, healthcare, or public sector
  • Strong understanding of compliance, audit, and governance frameworks relevant to regulated environments
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop HR teams
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Independent, proactive, and adaptable, with both a strategic mindset and hands-on approach
