Objective:

To ensure a clean, safe, secure, and pleasant environment within the shopping mall by overseeing all soft services operations. This includes managing housekeeping, waste management, environmental hygiene, security, and workplace safety, while driving service quality, efficiency, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily cleaning operations to maintain high standards of cleanliness across all areas of the mall. Ensure proper disinfection and hygiene practices are implemented and sustained.
  • Manage waste segregation, recycling, and disposal processes in compliance with environmental regulations. Promote eco-friendly and sustainable initiatives.
  • Supervise and coordinate security services to ensure the safety and protection of shoppers, tenants, staff, and property. Oversee vendor performance and implement security protocols as required.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety and health regulations. Conduct inspections, training, and emergency preparedness exercises to maintain a safe environment for all.
  • Manage service providers for cleaning, waste, and security operations. Review contracts, monitor KPIs, and ensure vendors deliver quality services within budget.
  • Prepare and manage operational budgets for soft services. Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising service standards.
  • Implement green and sustainable practices within soft services operations to support environmental goals and enhance the mall's reputation.
  • Coordinate with tenants, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues promptly and maintain smooth daily operations.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Facilities Management, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience managing soft services in a shopping mall, retail, or commercial property.
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning, waste management, security, and workplace safety standards.
  • Experienced in vendor management and contract administration.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Proactive, hands-on, and committed to maintaining a high-quality environment.
