Market Development Executive/Business Development Executive/Sales Executive

Principal Objective of Position:
Reporting to the CEO and designated Line Manager, the Market Development Executive is responsible for the promotion of ICDL certification programmes in Asia Pacific, particularly supporting the advocacy campaign to academic institutions in Singapore for National Digital Explorers Project and Digital Challenge Student Competition.
The candidate is expected to assist in the initial prospecting of new partner institutions, supporting of existing partner institutions to continue the programme smoothly and expand into new programmes. This may involve product presentation, operations training, and strategic discussion guided by a senior colleague.
This role is permanently working from home, and the role may be required to go to the office or travel to client site occasionally.
Responsibilities:
Direct sales
- Prospect new partner institutions and follow up with leads acquired by marketing campaigns.
- Provide day-to-day programme implementation support to partner institutions.
- Present new programmes to expand the outreach within existing or to new partner institutions.
- Prepare sales and marketing material targeting academic institutions and other relevant partners.
- If appropriate, this role may cover territories outside of Singapore remotely.
Marketing Support
- Support any ICDL Asia own events and / or Partners' events in terms of planning, coordination, logistics, etc.
- Coordinate with Marketing Team to liaise with key stakeholders.
Others
- Any other ad-hoc support tasks
Requirements:
- Minimum Degree or Diploma in business, social science, mass communication, IT, or any other relevant field.
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience in the education industry in Singapore.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written.
- Another Asian language is preferrable but not required.
- Good understanding of education ecosystem in Singapore and Asia Pacific.
Competencies:
- A self-starter with proactive approach.
- Excellent communication skills, presentation skills, and people skills.
- Excellent digital user skills, such as certified in ICDL Presentation, ICDL Spreadsheets module.
- A professional open to work in a multi-cultural environment.
