Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate total line space between Space Controllers, Sales Front office, and Marketing to maximize utilization on departure of the last loading port.
- Execute daily space control for Transpacific Trade loops based on existing policy.
- Communicate regularly with each Port of Loading (POL) office regarding vessel utilization and market updates.
- Coordinate cross-trades for inter-port space and service space usage, maximizing Wayport space utilization for your assigned loops.
- Monitor KPIs such as total lift, CM, utilization, and roll pool, providing recommendations as needed.
- Perform execution of transhipment operations based on existing policy.
- Coordinate with the Container Flow Management team for container re-positioning.
- Set and execute Account Plans (AP) to maximize customer fulfillment and utilization.
- Participate in or lead assigned projects.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma/Degree in a relevant discipline.
- At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in the shipping industry.
- Overseas experience preferred.
- Marketing experience in the shipping Industry.
- Strong communication and coordination skills to collaborate effectively across departments and regions.
- Possess a strong sense of urgency.
- Ability to work independently as well as a team player.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
