Business Development Manager - Central Banks & Financial Communities
The Business Development Manager has the responsibility for identifying and driving the Central Bank and financial market development initiatives in the given territory (existing customers and new prospects).
You will be responsible for signing and launching market wide initiatives that generate Gross Sales and market wide retention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage a sales pipeline regarding our Central Bank Trading Solution
- Develop the sales strategy of all propositions within their territory
- Drive thought leadership agenda as the internal and external spokesperson for your proposition, supporting community building and financial markets development/transformation
- Build strong and lasting relationships with senior stakeholders at Central Banks, MoF and Market Associations (i.e ACI) that lead to sales and robust pipeline
- Lead the launch of Market wide initiatives that generate ecosystem dependency on our Trading solutions
- Accurately forecast sales pipeline via Refinitiv CRM with monthly and quarterly focus
- Maintaining up-to-date understanding of industry & regulatory trends and market wide developments projects
- Provide product feedback and enhancements required to penetrate new markets or accounts
- Develop and maintain communication with a strong focus on collaboration with SAM
- Deep market understanding including a) expert understanding of financial market b) knowledge of relevant market c) strong understanding of customers' business model workflow
- World class selling skills (identify, develop, & articulate proposition/ consultative selling).
- Minimum of ten years' relevant work experience in the banking industry, with strong understanding of the Trading end to end workflow, systems, and processes
- University degree holder of relevant disciplines and qualifications to satisfy local or regional regulations for sales and trading activities
- Holistic thinking and ability to structure solution-oriented deals to overcome challenges and local idiosyncrasies
- Good track record in selling solutions to the financial services
- Superior interpersonal, communication and presentation skills (verbal & written)
- Ability to work independently & collectively to built strong and lasting relationships (internally and externally)
