**Context of the role**
Reporting to the Chief People Officer, this global individual contributor position will look at compensation, benefits, and recognition design globally. You will be responsible for compensation/benefits benchmarking, design for compensation/benefits programs, making area expertise recommendations, and implementing approved plans.
In addition to the above responsibilities, this role will own the creation of a formal job leveling/mapping and basic career laddering.
This position would be ideal for someone who has built a career in Total Reward and is looking to create a world-class, scalable Total Rewards program at a well-funded Fintech company. **Key Responsibilities**
- Design and create a job leveling framework and ensure all jobs in Thunes get matched based on this methodology
- Design a comprehensive compensation framework, ensuring clear and up-to-date salary bands for all roles across all regions
- Design compensation strategy, ensuring competitive pay and in compliance with our diversity and inclusion strategy
- Conduct cost analysis for proposals and ensure the strategy is underpinned by a clear cost strategy
- Ensure we have clear approvals processes to maintain a 'clean' compensation framework and exceptions are considered based on a clear set of objective criteria
- Own benefits framework across the global organization, implementing new countries as we continue to scale
- Manage the relationship with brokers and insurance/benefits providers
- Identify ways to optimize costs whilst offering an exciting and competitive range of benefits to employees
- Ensure Total Rewards information is available to employees, driving self-service and reducing the number of queries received by our People Operations team
- Implement the necessary processes and training to empower leaders to take the right decisions in relation to compensation and benefits
- Manage equity plans and external providers/platform
**Professional Experience/Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree and/ or hold a relevant recognised professional/ chartered qualification
- Extensive knowledge of compensation and benefits programs with a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience gained within high-growth tech organisations
- Able to multitask and be solution focused, with a track record of successfully implementing reward programs as well as solid experience in managing and supporting transactional activities
- Expertise and experience in leading multi-country total reward programs and practices and applicable legislation
- Strategic thinker - aligns employee reward opportunities with the organisation's desired commercial outcomes
- Deep knowledge of job evaluation methodologies and hands-on experience in utilising various methodologies in previous roles
- Proven strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders and work on tight deadlines
- Strong data modeling and analytics skills and advanced proficiency in Excel are essential
