**About the role**
**What you need to know**:
The Head of APAC IT Regulatory will be the leader in region responsible for managing all IT regulations. Key responsibilities include:
Manage Existing IT Regulations:

- Maintain an inventory of existing IT regulations across the region
- Periodically assess each existing regulation for continued compliance, identifying any gaps
- Work with Legal and Compliance to confirm interpretation of the regulation
- Create action plans to address gaps
- Monitor Action Plans, understanding where there are significant issues, and what can be done to address these issues, escalating as appropriate

Identify and Address New IT Regulations:

- Identify new IT Regulations via Legal, or other sources
- Partner with Legal to agree on interpretation of the regulation
- Conduct an assessment to identify and potential gaps
- Create Action Plans to address these gaps, and confirm ownership
- Monitor Action Plans, understanding where there are significant issues, and what can be done to address these issues, escalating as appropriate
- Collaborate with Risk to understand emerging risks stemming from these regulations

Manage IT Regulator Inquiries:

- Review the responses to confirm consistent and accurate responses with an appropriate level of detail are provided
- Manage technology regulatory examinations and requests for information for technology and cyber (coordination, data collection, status reporting)

Provide Regulatory Reporting:

- Provide project status reporting on coming into compliance with all new regulations
- Create regulatory reporting to monitor compliance against the regulations
- Work closely with counterparts globally to share Lessons Learned from APAC’s IT regulations to learn from what other regions have experience

**What we’re looking for**:

- 10+ years of experience within technology risk, control and governance, IT Internal Audit disciplines
- Required: Bachelor’s degree
- Understanding of IT Risk principles and best practices
- Ability to oversee multiple processes, action plans and key stakeholders simultaneously
- Experience raising awareness of issues to key stakeholders across technology

- Proven track record of drawing conclusions, making decisions, and using data to solve problems

- Ability to drive change through influence
- Excellent negotiation, collaboration, facilitation and coordination
- Negotiate prioritization and treatment of risk issues that span:

- Audit obligations
- Across various lines of business and shared service areas
- Excellent program, project and team management
