**About the Department**:
The **Wholesale Bank** function operates a dynamic business model that provides financial services and solutions to help our clients achieve their strategic business objectives. Our mission is to become the premier-provider of banking services and solutions for Asia-based commercial banking companies (small medium enterprises), large corporations, financial institutions as well as multinational corporations. Our coverage teams work in full alignment with specialised teams across Transaction Banking, Investment Banking, Global Markets and Group Retail to deliver seamless solutions to our clients.
**Responsibilities**:
As a key member of the Group Wholesale Banking, Sector Solutions Group (SSG), you will be responsible for the wholesale bank sustainability strategy, design, and implementation of ESG frameworks and solutions, green deals structuring and advisory, thought leadership and stakeholders engagement across our footprint countries.
Key Responsibilities
- Enhance and execute Group Wholesale Banking sustainability strategy to achieve sustainability financing and deposits targets.
- Expand and renew sustainability frameworks and solutions to encapsulate broader sectors, archetypes, and products.
- Lead the rollout of ESG business development strategies, solutions, processes, technology enablers and training.
- Streamline business origination frameworks and processes to mobilise coverage and product partners to achieve sustainability financing and deposits targets.
- Pitch and advise on green and sustainability linked loans for strategic clients to ensure that green governance requirements of frameworks are met, sustainability targets are science-based and ambitious while balancing pragmatic commercial interests.
- Experienced in structuring and executing ESG related transactions from pitching to end process documentation.
- Thought leader in speaking engagements and connect with regulators, government agencies, industry groups, greentechs, regional and local communities linked to sustainable finance.
**Job Requirements**:
- Tertiary education from a recognised university.
- 10-12 years of experience preferably in Banking & Finance or Sustainability related.
- Strong understanding of wholesale banking products.
- Experience in a client servicing/facing role is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
