
Head of Business Development

Location: Singapore (or India)
**Responsibilities**:
- Advise the shareholders and top management team on India business opportunities and growth strategy for the paper & packaging domain
- Lead and execute RGE Group’s business expansion strategy including managing risks in India
- Develop and maintain good relationship with key stakeholders in India, including state and central governments, banks, business associations and other industrial players
- Identify, evaluate and execute Greenfield investment opportunities in India. This will include infrastructure development projects.
- Lead the sourcing and negotiation of JV opportunities in India
- Manage M&A transactions in India
- Support the commercial team to grow the existing business in India and Subcons
**Requirements**:
- MBA/Degree Holders
- Minimum 15 years of top leadership capacity in any business with a focus on India
- Excellent knowledge of the business environment in India, especially in the industrial sectors like paper & packaging, chemical processing or manufacturing space
- Proven track record in leading business expansions in India; highly resourceful and possess strong project management skills
- Good communication, negotiation and persuasion skills
- Strong leadership, collaboration, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Strategic mindset yet hands-on in tasks
- Proficient in English and written / spoken local native language
