
Operations Lead

**As a Lead, a typical day would include**:
- Covering operational duties across both Consumer and Commercial
- Drive and oversee annual updates and reviews of Operations policies, processes and standard operating procedures via the use of Nintex Promap
- Lead in change management and make well-measured decisions for process improvements with the support and guidance from Head of Operations and fellow Leads
- Support and enable the Business Support, Underwriting Assistants, Conservation, Call Center, Customer Service and Billing Managers to provide excellent service to our customers
- Oversee and support business continuity strategies across Operations
- Facilitate, coordinate, and drive incident management processes across operations, through training and delivery
- Provide ad hoc support to the Head of Operations and Regional Operations Leads as necessary, such as reporting, presentations, and communications etc.
- Support with the identification and mitigation of risks associated to Operations
- Oversight and governance across contracts and agreements for Operations
- Support and act as the deputy for testing responsibilities of new platforms and systems across Operations
- Work with different stakeholders within the company and regional office to ensure timely and smooth implementation of any new initiatives/projects

- Relevant experience in insurance sector or financial services
- Proven successful track record in progressing change in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Effective change management skills and experience
- Mature, independent, self-motivated with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Be a proactive, assertive, results driven individual who can work under pressure
- Strong team player and strong collaborator; ability to engage and work well with a diverse group of colleagues and drive results.
- Possess a CAN DO attitude to achieve a win-win outcome.
