Martek Marine specialises in providing sustainable solutions to the maritime industry to ensure ship safety, efficiency and crew well-being
Established in the UK in 2000, and in Singapore in 2011. Many of the team have been with the company since the start, having progressed and developed into various departments.
As **Regional Sales Manager**, your main responsibility will be to manage, acquire and retain a geographical portfolio of maritime customers through the supply of Market product lines.
You’ll be creating and executing a strategy for an allocated personal territory, as well as being responsible for regional sales performance across allotted territory/customer base in Singapore and new locations.
**In terms of key responsibilities you will**:
- Ensure that both commercial and growth goals are achieved via the execution of the regional sales strategy, build strong long lasting and profitable customer relationships and take a proactive approach to new customer acquisition.
- Plan and execute local/international business trips with the goal of enhancing customer spend/relationships.
- Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts/budgets
- Develop a network of relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, agents, partners, and industry contacts.
- Remain committed to achieving KPI’s and ensure any opportunities for revenue generation are optimised
We’re looking for proven experience in a similar sales role, ideally within the Maritime/Offshore industry with proven experience of developing business.
The role will be based in our office in Singapore - 298 Tiong Bahru Road, #05-01 Central Plaza, Singapore 168730, and we offer hybrid working, usually Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays in the office.

Full product training will be provided and we're not expecting that you will have previous marine experience, however it is expected that you will have proven experience selling something B2B, ideally with a technical focus

- Proven experience and results generated in a sales / business development environment
- Proven experience and an enjoyment for negotiating, closing deals and handling objections
- A resilience when it comes to prospecting, engaging in it as opposed to putting it to the end of your to-do list
