This role leads our strategy and business development activities for Siemens Digital Industries in ASEAN. Responsibility for business development activities, monitoring of addressable markets and developing business opportunities from new and existing market segments and channels for the Siemens business portfolio. In addition, driving key program transformation rolled out by HQ
**Job Description**:
- The Head of Business Development will be responsible for coordinating the business development activities including collaboration and strategic planning with various business units. She/he will work closely with management and HQ to assist with search, identification, assessing and implementing business development opportunities.
- Supporting business development initiatives including collaboration, Opex and others business best practice. This will include assisting with activities including assessing competitive landscape, business case development, Work closely with leadership and cross functional members of management team to drive and implement corporate strategy and long-range planning based on current portfolio opportunities and risks, financing needs and organizational capabilities.
- Assist in identifying portfolio, financing and/or organizational gaps and plans for how to best address them.
- Prepare business development documents, presentations, and briefing books.
- Prepare, evaluate and present robust financial modeling and analyses to value projects and terms; develop, participate and deliver high level impactful presentations and conclusions to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Participate in deal construction and negotiations
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- 8 years experience in Business Development or other senior business
- Strong problem solving abilities and capable of articulating specific technical topics; expert in breaking down problems
- Experience is managing different stake holder and creating strong buy in the articulation of business cases
- Strong knowledge of digitalization portfolio
- Strong EQ and understand ASEAN culture is a plus
