**What the role is**
- You should be passionate about people and interested in developing new HR policies and reviewing existing policies for the full spectrum of HR matters including recruitment, remuneration, retention, professional development, staff benefits and welfare, conduct and discipline, organisational development, policy assurance and compliance, and exit.
**What you will be working on**
- You work closely with MINDEF Leadership to develop and oversee the implementation of MINDEF’s People Transformation strategy, ensuring that MINDEF/SAF continues to attract competent and committed Uniformed Regulars and Defence Executive Officers. Apart from anchoring a specific policy area, you will also have opportunities to organise and manage key manpower decision-making forums within MINDEF. You will need to be able to engage a wide variety of stakeholders from across MINDEF and SAF units, synthesize and analyse feedback from our people, think critically and creatively to develop and communicate HR policies, and stay at the forefront of the latest trends and best practices in people management, across both public and private sectors.
