Our Grandfather Story is a digital video publisher that documents, curates and retells authentic stories.

Since 2017, we’ve journeyed across Singapore and beyond to uncover everything from the origins of local childhood treats to no-holds-barred conversations with persons with disabilities — and we’ve barely scratched the surface.

Treading the thin line between old and new, between classic and contemporary, we present overlooked narratives that are timeless, nostalgic, and yet able to spark a sense of delight.

The Content Lead (Social Media) will be responsible for managing the social media presence of Our Grandfather Story’s (OGS) existing content pieces as well as to develop new content for the platforms owned.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage a small team and oversee their tasks and responsibilities
- Research, produce, write, shoot and edit videos for social media publications
- Have strong familiarity with producing short form content for both brands and internal stakeholders
- Research and pitch relevant content ideas for production
- Oversee content ideas and execution
- Handle uploads through our Facebook, Instagram and YouTube publishing processes
- Write and oversee social copies for publication
- Monitor and engage with users on all social media channels in a timely manner - including curating, crafting, posting, scheduling, measuring, analyzing, responding, listening, engaging and experimenting
- Communicate with content teams on trending topics and engage with the community
- Manage social media with content and marketing teams to meet business objectives
- Take a leadership role in cultivating social media conversations across all platforms
- Utilize data to increase audience share organically

**Requirements**:

- 2 - 3 years of experience in social media management
- Strong command of English verbally and in the written word is required
- Very active on social media, strong familiarity with platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
- Demonstrable social analytics tools knowledge (e.g. SEO, Google Analytics, Youtube and Facebook Insights)
