JOB DESCRIPTION:
This Multi Regional Role is responsible for executing the strategy that has been determined by the Senior Regional Destination Marketing Manager. Which entails developing and maintaining scalable commercial relationships with tourism board stake holders generating revenue for the marketing department and the company.
This is a sales/business development role, which must consistently strive to achieve and surpass annual revenue targets all while working hand in hand with the Senior Regional Destination Marketing Manager and internal stakeholders in a cross-function environment.
The Regional Destination Marketing Manager (RDMM) will serve a liaison between Senior Regional Destination Marketing Manager (Sr. RDMM) the global sourcing community and smaller revenue tourism boards.
**Responsibilities**:
- Consistently position Hotelbeds as the leader in the area of B2B digital destination marketing globally by interacting with as many tourism board stakeholders as possible on a Regional level, networking via trade shows and leveraging the existing relationships held by colleagues across the company leading to brand recognition, reputation and incremental revenue growth for client in their respective region. The RDMM will be responsible to implement the regional strategies set forth by the Sr. RDMM.- Execute and manage successful sales pipeline to ensure that no opportunities are missed, and revenue is being maximized in respective region and targets are being assigned by Sr. RDMM.- Attentively follow the legal parameters and compliance regulations and standards of Hotelbeds that has been communicated via Sr. RDMM.- Work hand in hand with department colleagues to implement workflow and constantly promoting the department to regional clients.- This Regional Role is responsible for executing the strategy that has been determined by the Senior Regional Destination Marketing Manager. - +5 years of experience in the tourism/hospitality industry-
- +3 years of B2B sales experience-
- Proven success in acquiring new clients while managing key internal stakeholders-
- Constantly manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment-
- Experience with creating pricing proposals, negotiating terms, and managing the contract process- Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualification in Business Management or related business discipline-
- A good understanding of the travel distribution landscape-
- Ability to network and grow any business’ initiatives based on established relationships and new opportunities-
- Highly organized, exceptional planning skills, detail oriented and possessing outstanding follow-through-
