Responsible to support the overall Julius Baer Academy strategy and business growth by developing employees through Learning & Development initiatives in the region. In addition, the role is to help develop the business’s talent and Julius Baer’s future leaders.
**YOUR CHALLENGE**:
**GENERAL DESCRIPTION**
The role of the Learning & Development (L&D) manager will be involved in planning, coordination, execution, and evaluation of training offering and development intervention applicable to Julius Baer staff across divisions. This includes programme management, programme deployment, stakeholder management, vendor management, community management, and projects.
**KEY FEATURES OF THE POSITION**
**Programme Management, deployment and coordination of Learning and Development Offerings**
- Manage end to end process including programme set up, vendor management, trainer coordination, onsite support, pre and post programme logistics
- Responsible for regulatory reporting and submission to local regulator and IBF on various funding scheme and requirement
- Occasionally act as trainer or facilitator
**Onboarding Programmes**
- Responsible for onboarding programmes from design to delivery
- Gather input/collect feedback to further develop the programme
**Young Talents programmes**
- Manage local young talent programmes and create communities for best practice sharing
- Gather input/collect feedback to further develop the programme
**Strategic Development of Learning and Development**
- Support initiatives and projects related to learning and development
- Leverage technology to improve learners’ experience
**Regulatory Responsibilities &/OR Risk Management**
- Demonstration of appropriate values and behaviours including but not limited to standards on honesty and integrity, due care and diligence, fair dealing (treating customers fairly), management of conflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, adequate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations

**Personal and Social**
- Team player with solid stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Hands-on self-starter who can work with little supervision
- Good time management
- Proactive, hands-on and solutions-driven
**Professional and Technical**
- University degree with good understanding of Wealth Management and training value chain
- Strong business acumen
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience in a similar role in financial institution with private banking knowledge an added advantage
- Track record in project management
- Well organized and able to prioritise own workload
- Strong Virtual platform familiarity to be proficient to organise, facilitate and gather feedback from virtual sessions
- Proficiency in Mandarin and other Asian language a benefit
