- Working Location: West - Bukit Batok
- Working Hours: 5 days (Mon-Fri: 8.30 am - 5.30 pm)

**Key Responsibilities**
- Act as a principal interface between Project BU and Sales BU upon receipt of request For Quotation (RFQ) from the Sales team.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposal for analyzer system, including all necessary documents (deviation list, drawings, spare parts list, project schedule, project organization chart, sub-vendor list, etc.) as requested in Material Requisition.
- Prepare preliminary design and costing on Analyzer System, not limited to Sample Handling System, Analyzers, and Racks/Cabinets/Shelters with support from the engineering team.
- Prepare and submit technical bid evaluation and revised proposal until all technical aspects are clarified with clients.
- Update the Sales Manager on the progress & status of quotations.
- Attend technical clarification meetings or kick-off meetings before/after the award, wherever possible.
- Attend commercial negotiations with clients together with the Sales team whenever required.
- Hand over awarded projects to the Project Business Unit with compilation of all required documentation.
- Implementation of engineering process with best practices, standards, tools, policies, procedures, templates and other shared documentation available from the Company.
- Source and evaluate new products, i.e. analyzers, sample system components, etc.
- Lead engineering & proposal team within territory, inclusive of workload distribution, managing performance, coaching, and mentoring/training new/junior staff within the department.
- Support international projects through other company offices as and when required.
- Maintain confidentiality of any information that is classified as Confidential.
- Decision-making in line with operating procedures and company objectives.
- Assume leadership and management of engineering & proposal team members assigned and develop them into proficient individual/team members.
- Ensure timely and appropriate generation, collection, dissemination, storage, and ultimate disposition of information.
- Ensure the integrity of the proposal and engineering documentation archives in accordance with the Company Procedure.
- Provide assistance to support assembly work during the production stage.
- Provide assistance to support the Service Team in the organization during testing or site service.
- Supervise Document Controller in the preparation of final and As-built documentation, Operation and Maintenance Manual, and Manufacturer Data Records.
- Conduct post-project reviews.
- Implementation and maintenance of the lessons learned process.
- Ensure focus on understanding customer needs and solving customer problems to improve customer satisfaction.
- Provide sales support on both engineering and commercial issues for system projects.
- Ensure accurate and competitive cost estimation for major systems project pursuit.
- Provide assistance for involvement in the bid process.
