**Job Overview**
Pre-Sales Manager is responsible for expert technical sales support, solution design, business development, and transition of projects from presales to delivery. This role will provide pre-sales technical support and expertise in analyzing client requirements and current capabilities to ensure technical solutions will accomplish the client's objectives. You must be able to articulate accurately technology and product positioning to both business and technical users and, identify technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process.
**Overall**
- You will stay current on the latest technology and contribute to the technical direction of the Company while keeping a customer-centric approach.
- You will work closely with the sales team to define a technical sales strategy for each prospect.
- You will ensure proactive communication with customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
- You will communicate with sales and product management teams regarding customer initiatives.
- You will take the lead in working with solution architects to define a complete customer solution.
**Sales Process**
- Support sales personnel throughout the sales process.
- Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs.
- Deliver product presentations and demonstrations.
- Lead technical deep dive conversations with current and prospective customers.
- Respond to in-depth customer questions and inquiries.
- Understand customer needs and recommend optimal solution.
- Document customer configuration requirements, to aid in solution definition and implementation SOW.
**Product Demonstration**
- Develop and deliver product demos to current and prospective customers.
- Maintain demo environment (data, branding, etc.).
- Author and maintain demo script.
**Market Feedback**
- Communicate technical product needs and customer requirements to product development team.
- Represent the product to the market at field events such as conferences, tradeshows and seminars.
- Perform competitive research and share with product development team.
**Expected Areas of Competence**
**Knowledge**
- Capability in delivering presentations and engaging all levels of customer stakeholders in both IT and business to understand their requirements.
- Lead discovery workshop sessions to gather customer requirements and critical business challenges.
- Architect a solution vision and evangelize how solution addresses technical and business needs.
- Develop and present customized demonstrations to showcase differentiators.
- Develop Prove of Concepts (POC) plans with agreed use cases and deliver the POCs.
- Deliver technical content for RFP responses.
- Handle technical presentations at trade shows and conferences.
- Stay current on latest healthcare trends and technologies and contribute with feedbacks from markets, customers, users, etc. for product improvement.
- Work closely with sales team to define technical sales strategy for each prospect.
**Skills**
- Strong experience with data analytics and data integration, with proven success presenting technology as business solution.
- Able to deliver effective presentations or demonstrations in time constrained situations.
- Highly motivated, self-starter and goal-oriented, with strong selling and sales aptitude.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and persuasion skills.
- Proven ability to work with high degree of independence and professionalism, with strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Excellent analytical, diagnostic and problem resolution skills, with ability to be flexible and adapt quickly in a dynamic business environment.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills and customer service focus, with ability to communicate effectively with executive management and work cross-functionally across multiple departments.
- Self-directed with strong time-management and prioritization skills, and work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
**Education/ Experience Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant area of practice.
- 5 years of experience in working, with 3 years of experience working in a pre-sales role.
- Proven success selling in complex, enterprise sales environments to both technical and business buyers at all levels.
- Experience in conducting technical, pre-sales & product demos.
- Passionate about learning the latest technology.
- Experience with solutions deployment and/or presales in one or more of the following technologies/platforms/frameworks: AWS, Javascript(ES6), Node.js, React.js, Redux, Meteor, MongoDB, Cordova, React Native, GraphQL
- Government related projects experiences will be added advantage.
