**Here’s what your day-to-day will look like in this role**:
The below tasks are required for all Singapore based entities.
- Handling and Controlling debts / credit limits / and age of debts. Improving debt collection and providing information and reports on specified accounts as required
- Review Inter Company accounts debtor and creditor and reconcile the data
- Review bank statements and make allocations of receipts to debtors and payments to general ledger accounts
- Administration and control of the payments ledger - including data entry to system
- Responsible for ensuring payments are made in a timely manner, and communicating issues if they arise
- Prepare daily and month end bank reconciliation. Issues on reconciliation should be communicated to higher management for action
- Update the IFS accounting system with relevant data from above tasks in timely manner, so information and data is correct in reports
- Assisting with the preparation of payroll functions on a monthly basis
- Receive and bank cheques/payments from customers, allocating to invoice in system
- Assisting in financial matters as required
- Assisting with preparation of local sales tax returns - VAT (GST in Singapore)
- Assisting with the local Audit and tax return preparation
- To supply information to UK office as and when required in a timely manner
- Employee expense form review and authorisation in preparation for payment
- Assisting in Human Resources related matters in Singapore, when required
- Ensuring data is filed and retrievable from storage or IT system when required
- Invoices will be raised from the IFS system and sent to customers via the business invoicing the customer However there will be a need to re-print in case of customer/debt control issues via finance
- Any other tasks associated with this role
Ad-hoc project tasks as required
**Requirements**:
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and proficient in English
- Good Microsoft Office skills, including word and excel
- Finance administrative experience
- Strong team player
- A good understanding of customer / supplier management
- A problem solver
