Ninja Van is a tech-enabled logistics company on a mission to provide hassle-free delivery services for businesses of all sizes across Southeast Asia. Launched in 2014, we started operations in Singapore and have become the region's largest and fastest growing last-mile logistics company, partnering with over 35,000 merchants and delivering more than 1,000 parcels every minute across six countries.

Powered by algorithm-based optimisation, dynamic routing, end-to-end tracking and a data-driven approach, we provide best-of-class delivery services that delight both the shippers and end customers. But we are just getting started We have much room for improvement and many ideas that will further shape the industry.
Ninja Van is building up a regional Pricing Strategy team to support the commercial efforts by the core sales channels across the six countries. This is because currently, there is no team that is singularly knowledgeable and accountable for pricing-related topics and issues.
The Pricing Strategy Team will have two Functions:
- Data Owner
- Pricing Business Partner
The “Data Owner” function is responsible for building, capturing and analyzing the data points for pricing.
**Responsibilities**:
- Define and implement the data roadmap for measuring and capturing pricing performance, across the core sales channels of Ninja Van, in order to produce insights aimed at driving commercial growth
- Manage business intelligence initiatives from end-to-end : building datasets, governing changes, running experiments, analyzing data and providing actionable insights
- Subject matter expert on the architecture and use cases of pricing data sets
- Work closely with the Commercial, Technology and Business Intelligence teams across the Region
- Lead a team of junior data owners and analysts
**Requirements**:
- Bachelors' Degree, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or Statistics
- Minimum 3 years experience in solving commercial problems - specifically focused on pricing - through a data-centric approach (with at least 1 year experience of leading a team of data owners and data analysts)
- A track record of working with both commercial and technology teams
- Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to navigate through ambiguous situations, and being action-oriented
- With working experience with the following software: SQL, Python, R (or other tools for statistical analysis) and other data visualization tools
- Prior experience in retail, eCommerce, logistics or transportation industries will be added advantage
