l Independently handle kinds of utility package equipment; steam generator package, water treatment package, waste water treatment package, nitrogen generator package, cooling tower, chemical dosing package, diesel engine generator, etc.
l Take the lead in the preparation of inquiry packages, in the technical clarification/evaluation of Vendor’s technical offers, and in the kick-off meeting/pre-inspection meeting with an inter-discipline collaboration.
l Prepare technical specifications including package equipment data sheets, detail design documentation & Inspection/Procedure documentation requests for Package equipment as shown the above.
l Prepare technical bid evaluation and clarification with Vendors for technical confirmation for package equipment as show the above.
l Review of the vendor packages and follow up on the required approvals.
l Prepare interface list for package and client requirements
l Follow up of all engineering issues for module engineering and close any outstanding issues as promptly as possible.
l Review / approve vendor documents in line with client / contractor’s requirements.
l Attend project meeting / follow up meeting with vendors, client, third party etc.
l Witness factory acceptance tests (FATs) along with client / contractor’s requirements.
l Assist construction team during module fabrication, equipment installation, and assist the pre-commissioning and commissioning team during yard testing.
l Assist procurement team as required during the ordering stage.
l Have skill of DX tools such as data analysis software (Alterix and Power BI), document search software (Goldfire), Microsoft 365 and document revision analysis (MIIDEL)
l Have skill of engineering software such as Navis works, Bluebeam, etc
l Have made programs and been used inter discipline, e.g. chemical dosing calc., piping pressure drop calc., ion balance calc., etc.
l Have experience as a assign engineer more than 10 years for large scale project for petrochemical projects and power plant projects.
l Have experience to assist site construction and commissioning works as an assign engineer at site more than 2 years for steam generator package, water treatment package, waste water treatment package, nitrogen generator package, diesel engine generator and cooling tower in petrochemical plant and power plant.
l Have knowledge about applicable international codes such as ASME, VGB, ISO, IEC, API, JIS.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
l Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
l At least 10 years of experience as Design Engineer in Package Engineering of Oil & Gas Plant, Petrochemical and Refinery, and Power Plant.
l At least 2 years of experience at site to assist module construction team during module fabrication, installation/ mechanical completion/ commissioning.
l Strong engineering knowledge and handling skills in Package equipment for steam generator and diesel engine generator as well as ASME codes & standards.
l Strong engineering knowledge and handling skills of water and waste water treatment package, nitrogen generator unit, cooling tower, chemical dosing unit, etc.
l Possess knowledge of plant construction and commissioning.
l Willing to travel to go to module fabrication yards, vendor works for meeting / coordination, FATs, client meetings etc.
l Provide assistance to module construction team during module fabrication, installation / mechanical completion / commissioning.
l Familiar and aware of collaboration between inter-discipline engineering activities.
