Summary

We are searching for an Assistant Manager (Policies and Compliance) who has a questioning mind and an ability to review issues, policies & processes with a discerning eye and high degree of vigilance. You will be part of the HR Rewards and Policies team and will work closely with internal HR teams and external regulatory & government bodies to identify gaps or conflicts in existing work processes, proactively identify potential compliance issues based on changes in internal and external environment to control and monitor important HR and employment-related risks.

**Job Description**:
HR Policies
- Ensure proper documentation of policies and processes for knowledge retention
- Work with internal comms & HR people relations team to ensure HR policies are communicated effectively to employees
- Support policy changes rollout through system implementation or enhancements

HR Compliance
- Proactively identify gaps in existing processes to highlight to Management Team, detailing findings, obligations and recommendations to mitigate risks
- Monitor known and emerging risks, measure effectiveness of internal risk control measures and improve them continuously
- Collaborate with Legal team and HR teams to monitor enforcement of standards and regulations
- Partner HR Ecosystem & HR Employee Experience teams to ensure technology infrastructure & processes are set up in line with risk control measures
- Keep abreast of regulatory developments, trends and best practices from other Companies/industries

**Requirements**:

- At least a Bachelor's Degree with 5-6 years in HR. Those with Industrial relations experience will be added advantage.
- Possess at least 2 years of experience in managing HR-related risks and compliance and in development of HR policies and procedures
- Professional and demonstrates integrity at all times
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Critical thinking skills to consider various perspectives, question validity of each and reach a conclusion
- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills with ability to interface effectively with all levels of employees
