**Job Purpose
The Manager, Human Resources (HR) will plan and administer the day to day functions of the HR Department which include recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and career development. People are the most important asset of the company and the Manager, HR is responsible to promote the company corporate values and culture to support business success.

**Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities**
- Develops and implements HR strategies, initiatives and policies aligned with the company and business plans. Reviews and updates the job requirements and job descriptions for all the positions within the company organization chart. Drives and manages the recruitment, selection and onboarding process. Plans and implements effective compensation and benefits programs to attract, motivate and retain talent. Oversees and manages the performance appraisal system to drive high performance. Identifies the training and development needs of the employees, with the focus of developing critical skills for the business, implement and monitor the training programs. Handles employees’ disciplinary issues and conflicts and bring them to resolution. Ensures legal compliance throughout the human resources management.
- Advises and supports Business Unit Directors to carry out the end to end HR functions and responsibilities stipulated under their business contractual requirements.
- Leads, coaches and inspires the HR Department staff to deliver high quality and timely HR advices to the company. Supports the Cooperative in the management of COSEM membership and issuance of annual dividends.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Human Resources or related field with at least 3 years of HR Manager experience or Diploma in Human Resources with 5 years of HR Manager experience.
- Experience in HR policy writing. People oriented and results driven. Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
- In-depth knowledge of labour law and HR best practices such as the Tripartite Guidelines on Fair Employment Practices (TAFEP).
